Our purpose is to provide the highest quality child care and preschool education in a secure,
nurturing and stimulating environment. Our most important priority is your child, and we strive
to assure that your child’s experience at Little Friends Learning Academy is educational,
fun, and safe.
Making decisions on your child’s education can be challenging. At Little Friends Learning
Academy, we strive to make the enrollment process as stress-free as possible. To begin the
enrollment process, contact us to schedule a tour and meet with us in person. Once you have
made your decision to register, please complete an enrollment packet and submit it to the school.
Little Friends Learning Academy accepts children from the ages of 6 weeks to 13 years of age.
Hours of Operation
Our child care program is open from 6:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Monday thru Friday
Tours of the center
Tours of the center are available to families from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
(No appointments are necessary at these times). Appointments are available from 3:00 p.m.
to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
*It is highly recommended that parents and children visit the school so that they may learn
about the center, classroom, and the curriculum offered.
Tuition payment is due bi-weekly, payments are due every other Monday
Little Friends Learning Academy provides Breakfast, Lunch, and P.M. Snack
(served after nap time) to all children enrolled. Parents and guardians must complete
a Child Food Enrollment Form before enrollment in the program.
Teachers & Staff
Teachers and staff at Little Friends Learning Academy are fully qualified to work in
Early Child Care Education. All teachers and staff go through an interview, criminal
background check, and drug testing. In addition teachers and staff must have CPR,
First Aid, and Medication Certification. All full time staff is required to complete
25 clock hours a year in Early Child Care Education for professional development improvement.

If Little Friends Learning Academy is closed for inclement weather, please check the following
TV stations. * ABC 6 News, *NBC 10 News, *FOX 29 News. For a quicker response you may go
to the TV stations websites, as well as receive text updates by signing up on the website.
*Parent and guardians can phone in the center 302-655-0725 for a voicemail message announcement.

designed to improve the quality of daycare by helping the daycare to achieve a high standard
in Delaware quality early care and education for young children.
This program is regulated
by the state of Delaware which provides technical assistance to help us reach our goals
and highest standard for children enrolled in our center.
